O Madsardines nasceu em abril de 2018. O seu objetivo sempre passou por dar a conhecer novos valores musicais, nesta primeira fase, os primeiros episódios tinham algumas covers de youtube, sempre encaradas como novas instalações musicais, de forma a promover quem luta todos os dias para chegar a algum lado, mas sem conseguir furar uma rede demasiado bem montada de promoção, que dificilmente cede a novos valores, a menos que esses novos valores impliquem os valores de sempre.

Apesar do projeto ter começado com covers do youtube rapidamente passou a originais de artistas mais ou menos conhecidos quer internacional quer nacionalmente e após o meu convite para participarem neste projeto, as músicas eram enviadas pelos artistas.

O céu era o limite e talvez vitima do seu sucesso, o podcast implodiu nesta primeira fase, quando me deparei com os direitos musicais dos artistas que apesar de simpaticamente fornecerem as suas músicas para promoção de boa vontade, colocavam o MadSardines num centro bem cinzento de direitos conexos.

A solução passou por retirar os episódios do ar, criar alternativas e para isso entrar num período de reflexão de soluções que não agradaram claramente ao seu autor.

A solução passa novamente pela música, desta vez com artistas independentes. O futuro será interessante, criado sobre as ruinas de um MadSardines que aprendeu com os seus erros e entregue a um caminho por percorrer.

Tenho como objectivo dar a conhecer novos sons, de artistas independentes que desejem ter a sua música neste podcast, para isso podem em breve preencher o formulário de envio que será disponibilizado para todos os que quiserem participar, nomeadamente as regras de participação no podcast e o compromisso de divulgação da minha parte.

O novo MadSardines será igual ao antigo… espero que gostem!

The Madsardines was born in April 2018. Its goal has always been to make known new musical values, in this first phase, the first episodes had some covers of YouTube, always seen as new musical installations, in order to promote those who fight every day to get somewhere, but without being able to stick to a too well-knit promotion network, which hardly yields to new values, unless these new values ​​imply the old values. Although the project began with youtube covers, it quickly became the originals of artists more or less known internationally or nationally and after my invitation to participate in this project, the songs were sent by the artists. The sky was the limit and maybe a victim of its success, the podcast imploded in this first phase, when I came across the musical rights of the artists who, despite sympathetically providing their songs for goodwill promotion, put MadSardines in a very gray center of rights. The solution was to remove the episodes from the air, to create alternatives and to enter into a period of reflection of solutions that did not please the author clearly. The solution goes through the music again, this time with independent artists. The future will be interesting, created on the ruins of a MadSardines who learned from their mistakes and delivered a path to go. I aim to introduce new sounds, from independent artists who wish to have their music in this podcast, so they can soon fill out the submission form that will be made available to all who want to participate, namely the rules of participation in the podcast and the commitment of disclosure on my part. The new MadSardines will be just like the old … I hope you like it!
